Scottish Chamber Orchestra’s Principal bassoonist Cerys Ambrose-Evans has played with many of the UK’s finest orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra and The Royal Opera. Ambrose-Evans’ programme includes Saint-Saéns’ charming and brilliant bassoon sonata with works by Debussy, Tansman and Nadia Boulanger which will prove the bassoon is a solo instrument every bit as rewarding as the other members of the wind section.
