The Traditional Püchner Professional Bassoon - with divided long joint

This bassoon is the same as the standard Model 23, but with divided long joint so that it will fit in a more compact case. Made from 20 year old seasoned Curly Mountain Maple wood this bassoon is made with silver-plated mechanisms. It is set up with waterproof pads for better sealing and good response. It is supplied with 2 Püchner crooks.

• Eb key on wing joint
• whisper key lock for left thumb
• Ab-Bb trill key on boot joint for right thumb
• 13 rollers: F, F# and Ab keys for right hand little finger, Bb, 2 x E, 2 x F# and Ab keys for right hand thumb, C# and D# left hand little finger and low D and C for left hand thumb. 

5 finger holes and 1 tone hole are lined with sterling silver tubes extending into the bore. The wing joint bore and the small bore of the boot joint are fully rubber-lined, the large bore of the boot joint is partially rubber-lined. Nylon lined pivot screws are also used.

Two finishes available, Matt Antique and Dark Red staining.
