Eugene Feild studied oboe at the Royal Academy of Music with Gordon Hunt and cor anglais with Christine Pendrill. Since then, he has enjoyed a distinguished performing career, playing with many of London’s leading orchestras, including the Philharmonia, where he performed alongside Gordon Hunt for many years. He has also been a top extra with the Ulster Orchestra throughout his career, and has played extensively with numerous other provincial orchestras. Eugene has performed with many opera orchestras, including as a full time  member of English Touring Opera.
