Description

The Howarth S40C + TP oboe is a graduate model designed for intermediate- to advanced-level players, and is an ideal upgrade from our student models. Still comparatively light in weight, and therefore suitable for accomplished young musicians, the keywork on the S40C + TP has many of the same features as a professional-level instrument, with the dual-system allowing a variety of fingerings and trills. This oboe will comfortably take players past grade 8 to advanced level.
The S40C + TP is a dual system with semi-automatic octaves, a third octave key, C-D, C-C#, Ab-Bb, A-Ab, and low C-C# (“Banana”) trill keys, forked F and low Bb vents, a left-hand F key, and a low B-C link.
