The EG Professional Oboe Reed is a professional standard reed. These reeds are marked 'soft' as they are among the most free-blowing of our professional oboe reeds.
It is made from 10-10.5mm diameter tube cane, and finished on a 47mm staple.
The EG Intermediate Oboe Reed is a great reed for advanced students (grade 5+). It is medium strength.
It is made using the same cane as the professional reeds. The maker has selected a cane density more suited to an advanced student.
The EG Beginner Oboe Reed is a soft, free-blowing reed ideal for beginners.
