This cork grease is made entirely from high quality natural ingredients for easy fitting of tenon joints. Superior to many makes on the market, it lubricates with ease and is non-sticky, and is produced in-house with our unique recipe.
Specialist cork grease such as the Howarth Premium natural cork grease must be used regularly to prevent damage to your instrument by over-compression of keywork during assembly and dis-assembly. If your instrument joints are becoming more difficult to assemble, use a lint-free cloth or rag to carefully remove all previous grease and residue from both socket and tenon before applying fresh grease.
