Marigaux
Strasser Marigaux was founded by Messrs. Strasser, Marigaux, and Lemaireto. Strasser Marigaux began activity in Paris at 144 Boulevard de la Villette with the manufacture of saxophones and flutes. They also began making oboes and clarinets at a workshop in La Couture Boussey, a village in Normandy, already a well-known centre of French wind instrument making.
In the 1980s, Strasser Marigaux abandoned the manufacture of all other instruments to devote itself entirely to the improvement of oboes.
