Fully overhauled in our workshops. This contra in of unknown origin, but has spent many years with a music service before being played professionally. This is an older and therefore more light weight instrument, ideal for chamber or amateur playing.
Supplied in hard case, the instrument has a dark characterful sound that is rare for an instrument at this pricepoint. The bell has been replaced with a compact bell during its life and this works well. An excellent instrument for anyone looking for a contra on a budget
