The SR Alto Legend mouthpiece is based on the design of classic “New York” mouthpieces. The Legend tip opening is .078 inches. Computer machined from Zelux-M, a polycarbonate resin which is similar to the material used in bullet proof windows, they are virtually unbreakable. The Legend is an extremely versatile mouthpiece, good for Jazz, lead Alto and as well as Modern, Rock, or Pop bands. The SR Alto Legend comes complete with Rovner Ligature and Cap. The Legend tip opening is 0.078 inches and the L-85 tip opening is 0.085 inches.
SR Technologies Mouthpieces are designed to meet the most exacting performance demands of contemporary saxophonists. They are made by a computer controlled mill to a tolerance of 0.0001 inches. None of the critical dimensions are cut by hand. This creates a uniformity of product unachievable in mouthpieces which are finished with handwork.
